Purchasing

Thank you for purchasing from Arik Kastan!  We will do everything we can to get your order to you ASAP.  If we have an item in stock, please allow 2-3 days for processing.  We will ship on the final day of processing.  You will be notified with an e-mail and tracking number as soon as we have shipped your order.

If the piece you would like is out of stock, there’s no need to panic!  We just need a little extra time to hand make your order.  Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. 

An Arik Kastan purchase includes one complimentary sizing.  Please allow an additional 5-7 days if you need a ring sized.  Sized items are considered a special order and are therefore non-returnable and non-refundable.

And please let us know if you would like to receive your jewelry by a certain date!  We’ll do everything we can do accommodate your request.  Just e-mail us at info@arikkastan.com.

We accept American Express, Visa, and Mastercard.

 

Shipping

FedEx ground shipping inside the contiguous United States (sorry, Hawai’i and Alaska!) is free.  2-day and overnight shipping from FedEx are also available.  We charge $20 for 2-day shipping and $30 for overnight.  Items are shipped on the third day of processing if in stock. 

We will only ship to a physical address and require a signature upon delivery. 

International shipping is a flat fee of $50.  The customer is responsible for all taxes and duties charged by the country to which the order is shipped.  Also, as much as we’d like to, we don’t have the ability to make customs do their work any more quickly.

 

Gift-Wrapping

Every Arik Kastan purchase includes a lovely pouch and gift box.  If you would like complimentary gift-wrapping and/or a handwritten note, please let us know in “Special Instructions” during checkout.

 

Returns

Returns must occur within 10 days of receiving your purchase.  Please note that all returns must be in absolutely pristine condition!  Anything that has been worn, altered, sized, and/or engraved will not be accepted by our returns department. 

We must have notification of your return via e-mail to info@arikkastan.com.  We will not accept a piece as returned until we have received e-mail confirmation and we have provided approval to have the package sent back to us.

Once we have replied to your e-mail, please include receipt and original packaging with item being returned.  In addition, the customer is responsible for a prepaid package (we will not accept CODs) as well as the necessary insurance.  We will not assume responsibility for a package being returned that is lost, damaged, mishandled, and/or stolen.  We will also not assume responsibility for the package until we receive it.  Assuming responsibility for the package does not constitute acceptance of a return.

Items purchased directly from us cannot be returned to our vendors.  Alternately, items purchased from our vendors cannot be returned to us. 

If instructions are followed exactly and our returns department gives the “okay” after examining the item in question, we will return the price of the item MINUS original shipping to the credit card used for purchase. 

 

Repairs/Resizing

Hey, we get it.  Stuff happens!  Please send your items to be repaired back to us and we’ll be happy to take care of it.  We’ll try our best to be as speedy as possible, though some repairs will take a bit longer than others.  In general, we take about 2 – 8 weeks to repair your Arik Kastan piece.   We will notify you if any additional charges will be applied for your repair.  Again, we require e-mail notification before we go forward with any repairs.  Please send us the item in an insured and prepaid package and we’ll do the rest!

We only accept repairs directly purchased through shop.arikkastan.com.  Any repairs for jewelry purchased through a vendor must be handled by the vendor from whom the piece was purchased.

 

Special Orders

A special order is anything that is defined as not currently stocked, including special sizes and stones.  Please contact us at info@arikkastan.com to let us know if you would like to special order a piece.  We’ll let you know the rest regarding deposit, time frame (usually 4-6 weeks), etc.  Special orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. 

 

Order Cancellations

Orders must be cancelled by e-mail within 24 hours of being placed.  Please e-mail info@arikkastan.com.

 

Backorders

We know you want to get your hands on your jewels ASAP and we are very happy to accommodate.  We do our best to update the website with what’s in stock and what isn’t; however, when an item is popular, someone else might get to it before we can update.  We will let you know by e-mail right away if we’re out of stock and need to have more pieces made.  Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

 

Sales Tax

Sales tax is automatically applied if we ship to you within the sunny state of California.  Orders outside of California are not charged sales tax.
